6/13/18. Drive to Colonial Williamsburg, VA

I didn't realize that Colonial Williamburg is owned by a corporation. The sites a reconstructed to tell history. Purchasing a pass for around $50 gets you on their bus to see their sites.  We understood that we had to buy the pass to eat at Christiana's Tavern, one of George Washington's hangouts. We heard of this on PTV.  I ate a seafood platter.  John had a salad and we shared the sides. Not all was vegan.  All was great: spoon bread, ice cream, shrimp, crab cakes.

The Senate House.

Back yard gardens.
