6/23/18 Kennedy Space Center and Cocoa Beach, FL

 The Linar Rover. 

Another  hot day on the beach. Only time for an hour today.  Parking was free if we bought something at Almost Edible Candles. They were unbelievable. I purchased a cupcake and 7 chocolate covered strawberries for $13.00.

A storm came up while I was driving on the interstate. It was raining very hard.  I was slowing to less than 45 mph and I was steering away from the water tracks. All of a sudden the van hydroplanes.  5 seconds of horror as the van tilts and heads for the ditch.  I was able to gain control and we continued driving with the hazard flashers going and traveling at a snails pace. 

Made it to Cocoa by early evening.
