We found out after we paid $20 for parking that a handicap permit has free parking. Asked the local parking attendant where the best place is for fish, a tropical drink, and a local beer. Right behind us is the Waterfront Brewery.
It was a disappointment. I really wanted something that I could get only at Key West. No go. Then I wanted a Mojito. No go. Settled for a Margarita. It was just like anyother Margarita that I've had. I had to finish my drinking very early in the day because I would be driving back to Key Largo.
We didn't know if we would actually get to The Southernmost Point so we took these pictures inside the brewery.
If we asked for plastic glasses we could enjoy our brews outside on the dock.
Look closely in the lower left corner of the next few pictures and you will see the stingray. It's tail was at least 6 feet long.
The owner was washing it.
Next stop was lunch at the corner "food truck". Bo's Fish Wagon. The fried conch, black beans and rice were a perfect feast. Quite an eclectic place.
Next stop was the tropical beverage at The Schnooers Warf.

It was over 100 degrees. Cooled off by walking through a grocery store and stopping for water and a brew.
