We drove Highway 41 north towards Tallahasee. I liked avoiding the interstate. Driving the state highway meant a lot of stop and go traffic through a lot of towns and cities. It's the Tamiami Scenic Byway. Quite ironic when most of the day's scenery was traffic jams.

Finally we reached the flat roads of Florida. 
John saw this poster last spring when he was in n Florida picking up our new camper van. He really wanted to go there. We were camping at Palm Harbor which was 45 minutes further down the road. We had nothing else to do for the evening so we ventured out in the traffic again. It wasn't too bad getting there. It was a fun Friday night in a lively establishment.
I chose crab fries and then an order of grouper bites. Yummy. The crab fries were French fries topped with crab. John had an assortment ofvegan dishes.
